It has improved. The thing is, with Google, how long before they decide they are bored with it and just discontinue? So I hesitate to get very deep into the ecosystem. I still find that it misses things and hallucinates, to me a good bit more than other models elsewhere. So, mixed feelings.
Omg so true of their products. Didn’t think about that. I’m kinda glad these models hallucinate because perhaps it will finally make people skeptical of everything on the screen. I’ve been bothered since the internet appeared how the screen became a deity of sorts.
Hi Nancy, loved the story video, watching over your shoulder as you researched this ancestor, and listening to the commentary from the NotebookLM podcast voices. The song and the poem at the end gave a most poignant closure to the video. Now I can read more of your research in the blog with enhanced interest.
Thanks, Carole. As I mentioned on Facebook, I wonder how it will be when our great, great grandkids do research. They will probably have an AI version of our faces pop up and tell whatever stories the AI thinks we would tell? Hm ...
I haven’t used Notebook LM in several months and was underwhelmed when I did. Clearly time to return to it. Appreciate you sharing your experiments.
